Independent Appraisals Matter.

Classic car appraisal of a Blue Vintage Jaguar car, with Bawns number plate
Specialist car buyers often have only the seller’s description to rely on when purchasing their new vehicle, especially if buying a car unseen at a long distance.

This can be a risky way to invest in a new vehicle, as buying sight unseen can conceal all kinds of unknown issues as you only have the seller’s word to base your purchase on.

Bawns can help put your mind at ease that you are making a sound investment by providing a fast, efficient and professional inspection service, so buyers have fully transparent pre-purchase inspection and valuation.

We offer valuations and inspections across the whole of the UK, seven days a week for both UK and international clients.

Why Choose Bawns?

Bawns was founded by Darren Gilling, who has over 42 years in the automotive trade, and a passion for classic cars spanning over 4 decades.

After owning more than 250 classic cars he was keen to provide a service that protects the buyer from buying a specialist car blind with little to no protection. This has led to creating a company that is a single touch point for private and commercial buyers and sellers, insurers and intermediary service providers.

Bawns uses their years of expertise to help customers invest in their passion with confidence and full transparency.

Bawns offer valuations and inspections across the whole of the UK, seven days a week for both UK and international clients.

How it Works.

STEP 1

Get in touch with Bawns to discuss your appraisal needs.

STEP 2

We will carry out a physical inspection of the condition of the vehicle in person, or can carry out an online review of a file or papers relating to the vehicle.

STEP 3

We go away and collate the data and research the value of the vehicle to produce an executive summary valuation report to support our findings.

STEP 4

You can go ahead and invest in your classic car with confidence!

We work with a nationwide network of
vehicle assessors and consultants, automotive engineers, accident and inspection investigators, and valuers to ensure we provide the highest standard of service to our clients.

As well as peace of mind for you as a buyer, our appraisals can be used for:
